Breast Cancer Care Charity Weekend
pink flowers for all the girls at Miller's FloristAs you can see from the picture we had a great charity weekend. We raised over £100 and still counting.
 
The fancy dress was supplied by Judith from within the shop and a BIG thank you must go out to Greggs the Bakers for the supply of the pink cakes.
 
May I also thank everyone who supplied all the raffle prizes.
The winners were as follows:
John Lees, R. Mellar, Barbara Kirkham, Vivienne Mann, Susan Moss, Jackie Green, Zeena Loreen Moses, Jean Hendricks, Joan Hobson, Lynn Howarth, Mrs Smith, Diane O'Connell.

Other Charity Work at Miller's.
Judith Miller and her partner Graham have completed the "Saddleworth Beer Walk" in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. They have raised over £300 so far and money is still coming in! This cause is very close to our hearts as our auntie Audrey died of the disease and we do our best to help in any way we can.

Judith Ireland is raising money for Francis House (Children's Hospice). She took part in the Macclesfield 3 Peaks Challenge Sponsored Walk on Sunday 14th June 2009. Another great cause.

Barbara's husband Clive and their son Joe took part in the Manchester to Blackpool sponsored bike ride raising money for the Christie's Hospital on July 12th 2009. Barbara drove the "Support Van"!

If any of these Charities are close to your heart and you would like to make a small donation to a very good cause we have sponsor forms in the shop.
