Support YOUR local Florist.

I'd like to give you an insight into why you should consider purchasing your flowers from your local florist rather than Petrol Stations or major outlets. To start off I would like to BLOW THE FLORIST TRUMPET for a minute if I may...

I would like to have a stab at certain organisations that are professing to know the flower trade...

Let me start off by saying we florists are absolute experts at buying flowers from our suppliers both here and overseas, we know our job backwards, flowers is what we do period! We do not sell, toothpaste, jeans, baked beans or groceries and do not profess to know them.

I have personally been in the flower business for 30 years, hold the highest qualifications anyone can obtain in floristry and it saddens me the way a true trade and industry such as floristry is being de-valued by certain conglomerates.

The feedback I get from our customers is that people (the recipients) do not want to receive flowers to their door in a battered box by a courier that knows nothing about flowers and cannot give advice as to the care of the flowers delivered. Customers want the personal touch BACK that is fast disappearing.

YOU DESERVE MAXIMUM IMPACT!

When your recipient opens the door you as the sender want MAXIMUM impact! After all this is one of the reasons you are sending the flowers in the first place. The majority of customers want to surprise and put a huge smile on the face of a friend or loved one.

Do you think a battered box turning up on the door step will have the same impact as a smartly dressed delivery person handing over carefully looked after flowers in pristine condition and giving friendly helpful advise on aftercare? I don't think so.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Also please bear in mind that when buying flowers you do actually get what you pay for. There is no such thing as free delivery. Usually, this means that the delivery costs have been knocked off the value of the flowers. They will either not have the same content or something will have been compromised.

So please trust your local florist. They know their businesses and want you to come back over and over again hence providing a quality service with excellent knowledge, helpful advise and a friendly face. After all isn't that what shopping is all about?

So to re cap...

Flowers are hand delivered by experienced drivers who will advise on how to look after the flowers. NOT delivered squashed in a box by a courier. Do you want your loved ones to received flowers like this...

battered box of flowers         or this? ...millers flower deliver

We show all our costs, we show our delivery charges. Other companies say free delivery, they take the delivery cost out of the flowers value, no company can afford to deliver flowers free of charge. You will pay for it somewhere.

Florists buy top quality flowers ensuring you get maximum enjoyment, you get what you pay for.
Thanks for listening.

Barbara.
